Specal night

Well we had a Special first and second night. Second night for Jase in his new bed and fist night for Zoe in a new bed. We finally got their bunk bed. We've wanted to get one since I found out about our addition, and finally found one I like at a price I like. So we put it up Sunday night and Jase slept on the top that night. He loved it and had no trouble adjusting. Zoe slept in her crib that night and was kinda upset she didn't get to sleep in the new bed. We didn't have sheets for the bottom yet, where as she is going from crib size mattress to twin mattress. Well I found some old ones of my moms and put them on Monday so she could sleep in there Monday night. She was still a little mad because she wants to sleep on the top, but that scares me and Jase already called it. So Keldon and I were really worried about how she would adjust, she has more trouble with change than Jase. I decided to try what we did with Jase when we switched from crib to bed and I read stories to her till she fell asleep. Well shes really antsy so that didn't work quite as well as I wanted so I read her a few stories and sang a few songs than just layed down next to her and acted like I was asleep. She finally settled down and fell asleep. It only took about 1 hour and 15 minutes. For a first time out of the crib I thought that was pretty good. She slept all night and at 7:15 am she got out of bed and came in our room and layed with us for a little while. It went so much better than I expected I was so happy. I just hope it continues, and we'll see today how nap time goes out of a crib. Those bars to keep them in are really handy, but we'll need the crib and we want her to get settled and use to the new bed before the baby comes. In about a week the bed will be completely finished. I ordered new blanket sets for both kids and Jase will get a canopy over his bed and Zoe curtains around her bed. It will be so nice that they both will have their own space, even if it is really small.

Our Good News

Hello everyone. I decided this was the easiest way to get our good news around to everyone. So we wanted to let everyone know that we are going to have baby #3. We are very excited and so is Jase and Zoe. Although Jase is only excited if its going to be a brother, if it's a sister he is going to be very mad. I asked him if he wanted another sister and he told me, "I don't want another sister, I already have one of those its right there" and pointed to her. Zoe just loves babies, I don't think she even knows a difference, a baby is a baby to her. Keldon is worried, of course, but happy. He's been a great help to me. I haven't been much help around the house lately. I try but I've been so much sicker with this one than the other two put together, so he usually wakes up with the kids, cooks dinner, and cleans the dishes. I do what I can, and if I have a good day I usually overdue myself. Anyways I want him to know how grateful I am to have such a wonderful husband that takes care of me.
So about the baby. I am 13 week along and am due September 8th. Sorry Stephens family we don't get a birthday break in September anymore. For any of you who don't know my family this will be grandchild # 23 and the only month that didn't have a birthday was September, well.... not anymore, sorry. I should find out if it's a girl or a boy around the end of April. Well that's just about it. I'm just telling people now because I'm one of those people that don't say anything until 12 weeks, I've always been scared of having a miscarriage and having to tell people. I commend all women who have had to go through that, I can only imagine how hard it would be. We love you all and hope everyone is doing well.
Here is a picture they took of the baby at 11 weeks. They were trying to find the heartbeat and couldn't so she pull out the ultrasound machine.

Some Family Fun

Just a caution for anyone who is looking, there is an overload of pictures here. We went 4-wheeling at my dads house and I liked a lot of the pictures so enjoy.

Keldon and Zoe on the 4-wheeler. She loved it.

Keldon took Jase and the dirt bike.

This is one of my dads dogs named Perdy. I loved her she is so sweet. And has huge ears.

My sisters boyfriend and Perdy. I just think this picture is cool.

Me and Zoe on the 4-wheeler.

Daddy and Jase.

Zoe and Daddy

I got brave and decided to try the dirt bike. It was scary at first but it's a lot of fun.

I like this picture. Zoes eyes are so pretty.

Jase and Zoe really liked Kitty. She was really good with them too. She would let them pet her and if she started to not like it she would just leave. She never even tried to hurt them.
