Rock Star

Well my daughter is a rock star. We found this out tonight by playing guitar hero. My sister and brother-in-law have a wii and bought guitar hero so we were trying it out. We had Zoe in a bouncer and she was hopping away. When the music came on she started watching the tv and was actually bouncing to the beat of the music (slow drive, or slow ride, I cant remember). She did this for quite a while, I don't know how long it was befor she started to get sleepy. Well as I was playing she decided to fall asleep in the bouncer. She just droped her head and was asleep until we started laughing. As soon as she heard the laughing she popped her head back up with wide eyes and she started bouncing to the beat again. This went on for a little while, eyes shut, eyes open and bouncing, eyes shut, eyes open and bouncing. My brother-in-law got a picture so when I get it I'll post it but I don't have it now. I guess she really likes loud music and rock music, she falls asleep to it better than being quiet. Now we know how to get her to sleep at night without fighting her, but we probably wont. Im going to start trying primary music and see if that works too. Maybe we'll be able to get her to like more spiritual music befor she's too old. Well we thought this was funny I hope you do too.

Bowling

So we went bowling with Jase for the first time and he LOVED it. We decided to take some family time before Keldon had to go back to work. We did let Jase cheat a little which is why he won but we all had a lot of fun anyways. Zoe wasn't as thrilled as Jase but she still had fun.

Keldon has a great shot, look at that arm go.
Me not so much. I did pretty bad.
On of Jases cheats was this ramp. He just put the ball on top and pushed it down. He also had the bumpers up.
I also taught him how to put it inbetween his legs and push it. It didn't go as fast but we had fun together.

Wow.... is all I can say about this picture.
He's excited.
At the end of the games, we played two, Keldon won the first by 5 and the second Jase won. I lost both games, by a lot. We did find out that if you plan on taking your kids bowling one game is enough. Jase had a lot of fun the first round but the second time around he got a little restless. All in all we loved it.

Wigs

So I've decided that if my kids had really long hair they would look like cabbage patch dolls. You might be wondering why I put my kids in a wig, well... My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer so she was given a couple wigs in preparation to her hair falling out. So we tried them on my kids and got a big laugh out of it. The hair Jase and Zoe have on in the pictures is actually made out of real donated hair, its red and really pretty. The kids didn't leave it on too long. Pretty much once it was on they tried to take if off. Jase let us make him pose, but the pictures with Zoe were lucky shots. If you're wondering how my mom is doing, well... she's doing as well as someone can do during chemo. She hasn't lost her hair yet, she hopes she doesn't. I told her that if she doesn't I might want to shave my head just to wear her wigs. She has 3 full head wigs and 2 hair pieces that go in hats or with a bandanna, think I wouldn't have to do my hair, just throw a wig on. Well anyway I hope you like the pictures as much as I do.

Easter

Easter Day we had a lot to do. We started the day off at my moms house, with my brother and his kids. The kids had a little easter egg hunt in the back yard, and we got some family pictures.

My mom and her husband Gene, aren't they so cute.
Zoe even got into the action and had dad helper her gather a few eggs.
She got a chocolate bunny and wouldn't let go.

After my moms house we went to Keldons parents house. This is a picture of most of the kids.

You would think this was a park with all the kids, but It's just our wonderful family. Its a lot of fun for the kids to have so many friends to play with.
After all the kids get what eggs they can Grandma spoils them with some toys. They each get to choose one thing out of the bucket.Jase got a box full of cars.
This is a picture of the weeping Willow tree. It is in memory of Will who was killed in Iraq and will always be remember as a hero, espically in this family.
After Keldons family we went to my extended family Easter. By then Jase wasn't as excited about the hunt. He still go lots of candy, but got distracted by the dog.

We had a great Easter and were really happy we could be with our family. Theres nothing like a holiday with your fam.
